Windows CE database volumes are limited to a maximum of 16 MB in size.
MORE INFORMATION
Database volumes are databases that are mounted through the use of the CeMountDbVol() function.
Database volumes are contained in files which can be stored on any type of file system accessible from Windows CE, such as the Windows CE RAM file system, FAT file system-based drives, or network drives. The 16-MB limit applies regardless of the file system the database volume is stored on.
The limit applies to the Windows CE operating system-managed database (CEDB) format only, not to those maintained by other applications, such as Microsoft SQL Server for Windows CE.
