SYMPTOMS

During the playback of a Synchronized Accessible Media Interchange (SAMI) file on a Macintosh computer, the captions cease to be displayed.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if you select a different skin during the SAMI file playback in Windows Media Player 7 for Macintosh.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, view the file by using the default skin, or select a different skin prior to opening the file.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
