SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to create a new profile, you may receive the following error message:
The profile name you entered is invalid. Enter a different profile name.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because you are low on hard disk space.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, archive enough data and unwanted programs to allow the profile to be created.

MORE INFORMATION

The error message that is described in the "Symptoms" section of this article occurs when the available disk space is near or below 500 kilobytes (KB).
