OL2001: Error Message: You Cannot Select Any Names Now (288470)

When you select a large number of names from your address book in Outlook 2001 for Mac, the following error message may occur:
You cannot select any names now. The action could not be completed.
CAUSE
This problem can occur because you have selected too many names as recipients.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, select no more than 250-300 contacts at any one time from your address book.
If you want to send to more than 300 recipients, select the first 250-300 from your address book, move them to the To field, the Cc field, or the Bcc field, and then select the remaining addresses that you want to add.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
