OL97: Error Message Appears When You Try to Resolve Name in E-mail (288254)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to use the AutoComplete feature to resolve a name in an e-mail address on a computer that runs Windows 95 with a new installation of Outlook 97, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
The name could not be resolved. The Microsoft Exchange Address Book was unable to log on to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer. Contact your system administrator if the problem persists.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, remove the networking components of Windows 95, and then reinstall Windows 95, choosing to replace the existing files.
