XIMS: HTML Mail Interface Cannot Edit Saved Items Without a Sender Address (288140)

If you use Microsoft Commercial Internet System (MCIS) HTML Mail Interface (HMI) version 2.5 to save an e-mail message that does not have a specified sender address in your Drafts folder, no link is created to allow you to edit this message when you view the contents of the Draft folder.
CAUSE
During the rendering process of the folder contents, the empty sender address should be replaced by the word "None." The rendering process is not working correctly.
RESOLUTIONMicrosoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.WORKAROUND
Be sure to add a sender address before you save the mail message.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
