OL2002: Column Widths Are Not Retained in Contact Views if the View Does Not Have a Horizontal Scroll Bar (287883)

After you create a custom Contacts view with a view area that fills the screen but is not wide enough to create a horizontal scroll bar, the column widths change when you return from another view. The column widths may also change when you use a very wide column for a field.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, do not use a very large field. Use a total view area large enough to create a horizontal scroll bar.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
