Unexpected Results When You Arrange Icons in Web Folders View (287355)

When you use Web folders to view the workspace, you get unexpected results if you right-click in the Explorer window and then click Arrange Icons. If you choose to arrange icons by type, they are arranged by author. If you choose to arrange icons by size, they are arranged by modified date. If you choose to arrange icons by date, they are arranged by title.
WORKAROUND
To arrange icons correctly, use the Details view and sort on column headers. To turn on the Details view, click Details on the View menu. When you click a column header, such as Author, files are sorted correctly.
