SUMMARY

Platform Builder does not currently support easy editing of dialog box templates in resource (.res) files. The Microsoft Visual C++ Resource Editor can be used to edit the dialog box templates, but it inserts extra information that may cause some dialog boxes to render incorrectly when displayed at run time. Instead, you can use the Dlgedit.exe dialog editor, which is provided through this article, to edit dialog templates.
