When you save Microsoft Visio drawings as Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) documents, Visio converts the drawings into a format that can be viewed in a Web browser. To do this, Visio creates a number of different files and file types. For example, if you save a one page drawing called MyDrawing as HTML, Visio generates the following files:

These files provide the functionality that allows multiple pages to be saved using the initial set of "extra" frame and navigation files.

For each new page of a Visio drawing saved as HTML, Visio creates an additional pair of files. For example, if a drawing called MyDrawing has three pages, Visio creates the following four additional files when you save the drawing as HTML: Notice the additional sequence number added to the file name.
