SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to install Microsoft Casino, you may receive the following error message:
Microsoft Casino requires 32 MB of RAM. Your computer does not appear to have sufficient memory.
When you click OK, you continue to the next installation screen.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:
  • Your computer is running Microsoft Windows 98 or Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition (SE).
  • You have less than 32 megabytes (MB) of random access memory (RAM) installed in your computer.
NOTE: The minimum system requirements printed on the Microsoft Casino game box are incorrect. Microsoft Casino requires 32 MB of RAM to run correctly on Windows 98 or Windows 98 SE-based computers.
