PRB: Application Error Occurs When You Run Two Instances of Replication or RDA Application on HPC Pro Devices (285854)

SYMPTOMS

When you use HPC PRO (Windows CE Operating System 2.11) devices, if you run more than one SQL Server CE replication or remote data access (RDA) process at a time on a client device, only one of the processes are able to run successfully. The second process may report application errors when a replication or RDA method is called.

CAUSE

With HPC PRO devices, only one SQL Server CE replication or RDA process can run at a time on each client device.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
