SYMPTOMS
This hotfix build is the single replacement for all of the following Microsoft Metadirectory Services (MMS) version 2.2 hotfixes that were built between July, 2000 and December, 2000.
NOTE: As with all MMS hotfixes, each build is an accumulation of all previous hotfixes. When you install this hotfix, all of the following server patches are installed, and there are no client patches:
Q269173 No Unique Proposal for Objects When Using the Join Tool
When you try to join the Active Directory Management Agent connector space
object to metaverse objects by using the Join tool, the following error message is generated in the Operator's log file:
No unique proposal for <object DN>
When you run the Join tool with a higher logging level, it resolves attributes as empty even though they have values in Hologram view. The join is successful, however, if you run the management agent and project the objects into the metaverse.
Replication Does Not Update Administrative Subentry
After you successfully run a replication agreement between Microsoft
Metadirectory Services (MMS) 2.2 servers, changes that are made to
administrative subentries in the supplier computer are not automatically
refreshed in the consumer computer.
Replication Problems with Multi-Valued Attributes in MMS 2.2
When replicating Metadirectory information between MMS servers, multivalued
attributes are not replicating properly. Specifically, antiquated values are not being removed. Because of this, replicated stores can be left with more multivalued attributes values than the source.
Delta Values Not Updated When You Run Management Agent
When you run a management agent, the delta values for "Last Update Time" are not incremented, or are set to a value of zero. This problem occurs with several management agents, including the Report management agent and the Exchange LDAP management agent.
Lotus Notes Discovery Causes Problems with CDIR_LN.EXE
When you are discovering the Lotus Notes address book by using the Notes client version 4.6.2, Cdir_ln.exe may stop responding (hang) or quit randomly.
Active Directory Management Agent generates an ACCESS_VIOLATION
The Active Directory Management Agent logs report the following error:

Active Directory Management Agent cannot create new user account
When attempting to create a user object and set the password in Active Directory using the Active Directory Management Agent, the following error appears in the Operator's log:
ERR_00 0728 00/10/03 15:02:42.141 (AD-MA_dataFlowFromMdToAd) AD returned 53
'Unwilling To Perform' for operation on object CN=Carol Bell,CN=MMSUsers,DC=NWTraders,DC=com
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next version of Microsoft Metadirectory Services that contains this hotfix.
