SYMPTOMS

When you view a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation in Microsoft Internet Explorer, animated portions of the presentation may not play smoothly or may not display the same animation as when they are viewed in PowerPoint 2002.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because Internet Explorer is unable to accurately display certain animation effects. Some other animation effects are more smoothly displayed in PowerPoint than in Internet Explorer.
