PPT2002: No Keyboard Shortcut Displayed for Group or Ungroup Commands (285485)

SYMPTOMS

When you create a toolbar with the Group and Ungroup buttons, click to select the Show ScreenTips on toolbars check box, and then move the mouse pointer over the buttons, the ScreenTips don't display the keyboard shortcuts as expected.

CAUSE

The keyboard shortcuts for the Group and Ungroup commands are not displayed in ScreenTips. The keyboard shortcuts for these commands are as follows:

   Group     CTRL+SHIFT+G
   Ungroup   CTRL+SHIFT+H

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
