PPT2002: Handwriting Tools Appear in Slide Show (285418)

When you view a Microsoft PowerPoint slide show presentation, and you use a Handwriting tool (click Handwriting on the Language bar), some of the Handwriting tools unexpectedly appear during the presentation. All toolbars and tools are supposed to be hidden when you view a PowerPoint presentation.
This behavior occurs with the keyboard applet.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when you do not close the Handwriting tools (or quit the keyboard applet) before you start the slide show.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, close any Handwriting tools that are open before you start a slide show. To close a Handwriting tool, click the large X in the upper-right corner of the tool.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
