MORE INFORMATION

Send To Mail Recipient (for Review)

PowerPoint 2002 still contains the Send To Mail Recipient (as Attachment) command, but it also contains a new command to send a presentation via e-mail: Send To Mail Recipient (for Review).

The Send To Mail Recipient (for Review) command lets you send a presentation for review, so that other people can add comments and make changes to their copies of the presentation. As the author of a presentation, you may want to send your presentation to reviewers online so that you do not have to rely upon a marked-up hard copy.

You can send a presentation from PowerPoint by using Microsoft Outlook or any other 32-bit e-mail program that is compatible with the Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI). You can also save your presentation for review on a network server or on a disk.

Reviewers can use any version of PowerPoint to review your presentation. As reviewers complete their review and send the presentations back to you, you can combine them with your original copy of the presentation. You can then use the reviewing tools in PowerPoint to apply the reviewers' changes.
