PRB: Microsoft Word Required to View BizTalk Readme Files Correctly (282268)

If you attempt to open the Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 Readme.txt files that are stored in a Microsoft Word format (with a .doc extension), you may get the following error message if Microsoft Word is not installed:
Microsoft Word 97 Conversion
Unable to load graphics conversion filter. Continue with document conversion?
The error message may occur multiple times before the document opens.
CAUSE
Some Readme.txt files from BizTalk Server are saved with embedded graphics and other advanced Word features that cannot be converted by Microsoft WordPad, which is attempting to open the documents.
RESOLUTION
To open the documents as they were saved you must use Microsoft Word 97 or later. You may also use the Word 97 or Microsoft Word 2000 Viewer, which is available for download from the following Web address:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
