VBScript Error Message Occurs When You Use Terminal Services Advanced Client (282128)

When you connect to a server that is running Windows 2000 Terminal Services by using Terminal Services Advanced Client (TSAC), you may receive the following error message:
VBScript: Error connecting to terminal server: Servername CAUSE
This issue can occur when the client is unable to locate the Terminal server on the network.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, verify that the client can contact the Terminal server by using the NetBIOS name or the IP address. To do so, run a ping command to search for the server. For additional information, click the article number below
