Setup Problems During Floppy Disk Installation If OEM HAL Option Is Used (281647)

When you are installing Windows 2000 by using boot floppy disks, the Setup process does not properly allow for switching floppy disks if you are using a custom hardware abstraction layer (HAL). This problem can occur if you press F5 during the Setup process to load "Other" HAL from floppy disk. When you are using the boot floppy disk method, the following error message is displayed:
File ntkrnlmp.exe could not be loaded.
The error code is 14
Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit.
This problem does not occur if you are installing from a CD-ROM.
CAUSE
This issue is caused by a code problem in the Setupldr.bin file.
