SYMPTOMS

When you use Microsoft SideWinder Game Voice to play any of the following games, the game may stop responding (hang):
  • Blizzard Entertainment Diablo 2
  • Electronic Arts Westwood Studios Red Alert 2

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Start the game.
  2. After the game starts, press ALT+TAB to switch back to Windows.
  3. Start the Game Voice software and connect to a chat session.
  4. Press ALT+TAB to switch back to your game.
