- Microsoft Outlook 2002, when used with:
- the operating system: Microsoft Windows 2000
This article was previously published under Q280985 SYMPTOMS When you are running Outlook 2002 on a Windows 2000-based
computer, attachments are saved in the My Documents folder even though you
change the default location in the registry. WORKAROUND To work around this behavior, after you start Outlook,
browse to the folder where you want to save an attachment, and then save the
attachment. In the future, attachments that you save while Outlook 2002 is
running go to that folder by default.
NOTE: When you restart Outlook, My Documents appears as the default
directory. STATUSMicrosoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
