OL2002: Attendee Information for Exception to Recurring Appointment Not Synchronized with PocketPC (280935)

This article was previously published under Q280935 SYMPTOMS When you create a recurring appointment in Outlook and then
add an attendee to only one occurrence of the appointment, the PocketPC does
not show the added attendee after synchronization. If you make changes on the
PocketPC to fields in the appointment, for example the Location or Notes field,
and then synchronize with Outlook, the attendee is removed from the
appointment. WORKAROUND To work around this behavior, do not create an exception to
the recurring appointment or meeting. Instead, create a new meeting request and
invite additional attendees for that one occurrence. STATUSMicrosoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
