OL2002: 'Best Fit' Does Not Set Column Width As Expected (280849)

SYMPTOMS

When you set the width of the Received column by clicking Best Fit in your Inbox, it does not work as expected if another formatting change, such as changing the date format, is made at the same time. The column is wider than necessary.

If Best Fit is the only change made, the column width is applied correctly.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, right-click the column heading, and then click Best Fit directly from the menu.
