SYMPTOMS

When you open a Microsoft Office 97 document on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows NT Workstation or Windows NT Server, you receive the following error message:
Access Denied.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when the document contains a control, and the user's %homedrive% in the user profile points to a read-only share or directory.
