Speech recognition, a feature of Microsoft Office, allows you to dictate text into any Microsoft Office program. You can also use your voice to select menu, toolbar, and dialog box items. However, speech recognition is not designed for completely hands-free operation. You get the best results by using a combination of voice commands and a mouse or a keyboard.
