Languages installed by Office XP Multilingual User Interface Pack appear in Office 2000 Help (280543)

When you install Microsoft Office XP on the same computer on which you have Microsoft Office 2000 installed, and you also install the Office XP Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI), the installed Office XP languages may unexpectedly appear in the Display help in box in the Office 2000 Language Settings dialog box.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the languages that you installed for Office 2000 are different from the languages that you installed for Office XP.
This behavior occurs only on Microsoft Windows 2000-based computers.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, install the same languages for Office XP that you installed for Office 2000.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
