XCCC: Error 29160 When You Install Mobile Information Server (279876)

SYMPTOMS

When you install Mobile Information Server, you may receive the following error message during the setup process:
Mobile Information Server - InstallShield Wizard

Error 29160.Failed to check if user is domain admin error no: 0x8007052e, error message: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.

CAUSE

You are logged on as the Local Administrator for the server on which you are installing and do not have Domain Administrator rights.

RESOLUTION

Log on with a different account (such as Domain Administrator) before you begin to install Mobile Information Server, or add your Domain account (which is a member of the local administrators) to the domain Administrators group in Active Directory Users and Computers.
