SYMPTOMS

When you use the SQL Text Editor to create a text stored procedure or function, you notice that all code appears in black text rather than in the color-coded format that you see in Microsoft Access 2000.

CAUSE

The SQL Text Editor no longer supports color-coded text. Microsoft dropped support for color-coded text in order to fully accommodate Unicode characters in the SQL Editor.
