When you attempt to play sounds from Microsoft Encarta World English
Dictionary 2001, you may receive the following error message:
The audio device is not available or in use.
In addition, the text "MVMCI13" may be displayed in the box in which the
playback controls are usually displayed.
CAUSE
This behavior may occur if Encarta World English Dictionary 2001 is
installed on a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0-based computer.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
