SUMMARY
Microsoft Office 2000 Premium, Microsoft Office 2000 Professional, and the stand-alone version of Microsoft Access 2000 have a Calendar ActiveX control that you can use in Microsoft Office applications. However, you are not licensed to redistribute the Calendar control unless you own a licensed copy of Microsoft Office 2000 Developer Edition.
MORE INFORMATION
Even though the Calendar control is included with Office 2000 Premium, Office 2000 Professional, and the stand-alone version of Access 2000, you cannot redistribute the Calendar control (MSCal.ocx) in a custom
application unless you have purchased a copy of Office 2000 Developer Edition.
If you do not own a licensed copy of Office 2000 Developer Edition but plan to distribute your application to users who own either Office 2000 Premium, Office 2000 Professional, or the stand-alone version of Access 2000, your application will work properly if the users have installed the Calendar control.
REFERENCES
For a list of files that you can distribute with your custom application,
open the Redist.txt that is included with Office 2000 Developer Edition. The default location for this file is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\ODETools\V9. Even though MSCal.ocx does not appear in this list, you can distribute this file with you build using Office 2000 Developer Edition.
