BUG: Errors in Moving Files: Default.hta When You Install Business Desk on Windows ME (278758)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to install the Business Desk client on a computer running Microsoft Windows ME, the following error message may occur:
Errors in moving files: default.hta
This error is only known to occur when you try to save the Default.hta file to the root of the drive.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, create a folder and specify that folder when you run the Business Desk client installation.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Commerce Server 2000.
