SYMPTOMS

The Performance Monitor counter MSSQL$InstanceName:Buffer Partition (also known as SQL Server:Buffer Partition) is not included in the list of SQL Server objects in the Books Online "Using SQL Server Objects" topic.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SQL Server 2000.
