XIMS: NNTP Clients Cannot See Messages Posted on Other Servers That MAPI Clients Can See (278618)

SYMPTOMS

When two Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server computers are set to replicate an Internet newsgroup, Network News Transfer Protocol (NNTP) clients may only be able to see posts that are posted to the server that the NNTP clients are connected to, but Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) clients can see the posts regardless of which server that the MAPI clients are connected to.

RESOLUTION

STATUS
