Links 2001: Extra Names Appear in Golfer Animation Manager After You Reinstall the Game (278314)

SYMPTOMS

When you install Microsoft Links 2001 on your computer, the following golfer animations appear in the list of animations in the Golfer Animation Manager tool:
  • Annika
  • Arnold
  • Sergio
When you reinstall Links 2001 on the same computer, the following additional golfer animations may appear in the list of animations in the Golfer Animation Manager tool:
  • Annikas
  • Arnoldp
  • Sergiog

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you select the Medium installation option when you install Links 2001, and then you select the Medium installation option again when you reinstall Links 2001.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, use the Golfer Animation Manager tool to delete the following golfer animations:
  • Annikas
  • Arnoldp
  • Sergiog
