FP2002: Prompted to Overwrite the Wrong File When You Use Save As Command to Save ASP File as HTML File (276255)

When you use the Save As command to save an ASP file as an HTML file, you receive the following message:
The file file name already exists. Do you want to replace the
existing file?
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the following conditions are true: - You select the Hide file extensions for known file types check box in Windows Explorer.
-and-
- You use the Save As command to save an ASP file as an HTML file in Microsoft FrontPage.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, follow these steps. NOTE: Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps. For Microsoft Windows 2000:- On the Windows Start menu, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Windows Explorer.
- On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
- On the View tab, click to clear the Hide file extensions for known file types check box.
- Click Apply, and then click OK.
