The Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) provider in the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) software development kit (SDK) does not handle partial-instance update procedures.
CAUSE
When a partial-instance update operation is sent to the SNMP provider, the provider attempts to update all of the values instead of just the values that are specified in the __PUT_EXT_PROPERTIES context information.
