WD2002: Cannot Change Theme Bullet Back to Numbered Item (275963)

SYMPTOMS

If you use a theme (on the Format menu, click Theme) in your Word document, you may not be able to change your bulleted list back to a numbered list.

NOTE: This problem may occur after you change a list that contains bullets from the theme to a numbered list and then back to a bulleted list.

WORKAROUND

To change your bulleted list back to a numbered list, follow these steps:

Select your bulleted list.
On the Format menu, click Bullets and Numbering.
On the Numbered or Outline Numbered tab, click to select the number style that you want to use for your numbered list, and then click OK.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
