You can use three-dimensional (3-D) depth effects in Microsoft PowerPoint 2001 for Mac to enhance graphics. Most 3-D effects are unavailable for tables. If you have added 3-D effects to a table in your presentation and don't like the effect, you can remove them. This article describes a method to modify or remove 3-D depth effects in tables.

To modify or remove 3-D depth effects in a table, follow these steps:
  1. In a PowerPoint presentation, select a slide with a table.
  2. If the Tables and Borders toolbar is not visible, on the View menu, click Toolbars, and then click Tables and Borders.
  3. If the Drawing toolbar is not visible, on the View menu, click Toolbars, and then click Drawing.
  4. To view the 3-D Settings toolbar, on the Drawing toolbar, click the Draw button, click 3-D, and then click 3-D Settings.
  5. On the Tables and Borders toolbar, click Table, and then click Select Table.
  6. On the 3-D Settings toolbar, click Depth, click Custom, type the point size of the depth that you want the table to have, and then press the RETURN key.

    Type a value of 0 (zero) for the depth if you want to remove all 3-D effects.
