ENT2001: Your View Switches to a Month View When You Select a Two-Week Range in a Mini-Calendar View (273544)

SYMPTOMS

In the Entourage Calendar view, if you select a range of dates in the mini-calendar view that includes at least two weeks, each time that you attempt to select a single day, a five-week range is displayed.

CAUSE

This behavior is by design. When you select the two-week range, Entourage switches the Calendar view to Monthly view. Any date that you select after you have selected the two-week view uses the Monthly view.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, click a start date to switch to either a Daily or Weekly view, and then drag the pointer to select a range of dates less than two weeks. The view changes to a Daily view.
