XADM: Pointer Retains Hourglass Shape Indefinitely (273127)

SYMPTOMS

The pointer retains the shape of an hourglass indefinitely in the Select file to catalog dialog box.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when you click Desktop in the Look in box, and then double-click My Computer to choose a file to catalog.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, move the pointer outside the Select file to catalog dialog box, and then move it back in.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
