XWEB: No Shortcut Menu Available in OWA Message Body (271928)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Outlook Web Access (OWA), the new messages, posts, forwards, replies, copy, and paste commands are not available on a shortcut menu in the body of the message.

The shortcut menu is available in the Subject, To, Cc, and Bcc fields.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, you can use the shortcut keys, which are still available:
  • CTRL+Z (Undo)
  • CTRL+X (Cut)
  • CTRL+C (Copy)
  • CTRL+V (Paste)
  • DELETE (Delete)
  • CTRL+A (Select All)

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
