Create Shortcut on the Windows Desktop

To create a shortcut on the Windows desktop for one of the products listed in the "Applies to" section of this article, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, and then click Search.
  2. Click Files or Folders, and then click All files and folders.
  3. In the All or part of the file name: box, type msmoney.exe.
  4. In the Look in box, click My Computer.
  5. Click Search.
  6. In the list of found files, right-click the Msmoney.exe file, point to Send To, and then click Desktop (create shortcut).
  7. Close all the Windows, you should now see Microsoft Money shortcut on your desktop.

Create a Shortcut to Money on the Start Menu

To create a shortcut to Microsoft Money on the Start menu, follow these steps:
  1. Follow steps 1 through 7 in the previous procedure.
  2. Right-click the Money shortcut on the desktop, and then click Copy.
  3. Right-click the Start button, and then click Open.
  4. Right-click the Programs folder, and then click Paste.
