SYMPTOMS

During a slide show, bullets and portions of the bulleted text in certain slides may not completely disappear according to the exit animations that are assigned to them.

CAUSE

This issue occurs when the following conditions are true:
  • The bullets are picture objects, rather than text or symbols.

    -and-
  • The object that contains the bulleted text is at the front of the stacking order.

    -and-
  • Objects that are further back in the stacking order have entry animations that are supposed to appear prior to the animation that is assigned to the bulleted text.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, send the bulleted object to the back of the stacking order. To arrange the stacking order of the bulleted text, following these steps:
  1. Click to select the bulleted text.
  2. On the Drawing toolbar, click the Draw button, point to Arrange, and then click Send to Back.

STATUS
