The DataLink utility that is provided by the Microsoft Commerce Server OLEDB-Service Components library calls methods on the IDataInitialize interface that the provider does not support.

This problem also occurs in ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) Connection object properties. The Connection.ConnectionString and Connection.Provider properties do not return the ConnectionString and Provider names because the IDataInitialize interface is not supported.
