This article describes how to configure the Microsoft Keyboard for Macintosh to use the My Computer hot key on any of the Microsoft Keyboards listed in the "Applies To" section open the Macintosh HD.

To configure the My Computer hot key to open the Macintosh HD:
  1. Click the Apple menu.
  2. Point to Control Panels.
  3. Click Microsoft Keyboard.
  4. Click the Other Hot Keys tab.
  5. Under Other Hot Key, click My Computer.
  6. Under Select a command, click Open Item.
  7. Under Click Choose to select an item, click Choose.
  8. In the Choose Object dialog box, navigate to the Desktop to select the Macintosh HD.
  9. Click Choose.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Close the Microsoft Keyboard control panel.
