XCCC: Conferencing Resources Cannot Be Renamed in the Conference Management Service (268750)

Administrators that are attempting to rename a conferencing resource within the Conference Management Service (CMS) are only able to modify the properties that are associated with the Conference Technology Provider (CTP) of each resource.
CAUSE
Resource mailboxes are created as Microsoft Windows 2000 user objects. To rename these objects, you must do so within the Active Directory Users and Computers Manager snap-in.
RESOLUTION
To rename a conferencing resource mailbox, rename the user object within the Active Directory Users and Computers Manager snap-in, which are located at Domain\Microsoft Exchange System Objects\Conferencing.
