ENT2001: Unable to Delete Messages on the IMAP Server While You Receive Messages (268667)

SYMPTOMS

When you use Entourage to receive messages from subscribed folders on an Internet Mail Access Protocol (IMAP) server, you cannot delete messages while a mail delivery session is in progress.

CAUSE

This behavior is by design.

This behavior occurs because the mail delivery process is given priority over other tasks.

MORE INFORMATION

Messages are deleted after the mail delivery process is finished.
