SYMPTOMS

You may be unable to print to a Universal Serial Bus (USB) printer. When you connect a USB printer, the USB driver attempts to enumerate the device. However, the USB printer may not be recognized or installed.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
