SYMPTOMS

When you click a message with a graphic file attachment after you upgrade to Outlook Express 5.5 from Outlook Express 4.01, you may receive the following error message:
An error has occurred in the script on this page.

When you click Yes or No, you receive the following error message:
An error has occurred in the script on this page.

When you click Yes or No, you receive the following error message in the Preview pane:
The Outlook Express Slide-Show cannot be displayed unless scripting is enabled. You need to turn on scripting in the security settings for the Zone you read mail in. Look under Tools|Options|Security to set security settings for a particular Zone.
When you try to set the security settings to correct this problem, there is no option to turn on scripting.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Outlook Express 5.5.
